This site is a prototype
testing ways to present medieval manuscripts in digital form. We have
scanned six manuscripts of the Roman de la Rose from the
collections of the Walters Art Museum (W. 143), the Pierpont Morgan Library
(M. 948), the Bodleian Library of Oxford University (MS. Douce 195, MS. Douce 332 and MS. Selden Supra 57), and the J. Paul Getty Museum (MS. Ludwig XV 7).
All folios of these manuscripts may be viewed and compared, and a
portion of the text is searchable.
